Barack Obama was the winner of the Nobel Prize in 2009. Which he won for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people. Obama was one of 205 nominees, and won a gold medal, a diploma and $1.4 million. On 10 December of that year, he attended the ceremony for the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, where he accepted his award and expressed deep gratitude and great humility. He is the third president that receives the Nobel Prize.
